Our Story

Necessity is the mother of all inventions. While Nantucket Locksmith hasn’t invented anything new, a lost car key was the start of Nantucket Locksmith LLC.

As most parents know, a teenager can provide much joy, as well as a fair amount of stress. When our teenager lost a key fob, we looked at options. With nobody on Nantucket that was able to create a replacement key fob for our car, we decided to take a passion, and turned it into an opportunity to launch a new service to the island.

We exclusively work with automotive keys, for most vehicle makes and models(smart keys, cut keys, key fobs, chip keys, etc). Whether you need a replacement key that you lost on the beach, or if you have no spare key for your vehicle, we are able to assist with all of your automotive locksmith needs.

Nantucket Locksmith is committed to providing professional locksmith services to Nantucket, and will not raise prices to make an extra dollar. If we commit to a project, we will finish and stay within the quoted price.

We have many years of experience and keep up to date on the latest technologies used in automotive locks and immobilizers. If we don’t have the tools for your specific product, we will provide you with an estimate on when we can have the equipment.
